Professional Career Highlights

I competed in 8 different European competitions outside of my team’s domestic league including the Fiba Cup, Uleb Cup, Euroleage, Eurocup and Eurochallenge competitions.  These competitions are reserved for the best teams in Europe and only the top domestic teams in each country are allowed this opportunity.

  • S. Oliver Baskets Wurzburg, 2014-2015

I had the honor to learn from and play for some of the best coaches in Europe, including Mensur Baramovic, former Bosnian National Team Coach and player development specialist, Sergei Belov, the most famous Russian basketball player in history, coach of Russian Cup and Russian Championship teams, and member of the famous 1972 Gold Medal winning Olympic Team, Mike Taylor, current Maine Red Claws and Polish National Team Coach and offensive concepts wizard,  and Dirk Bauermann, former 7 year German National Team Coach, 9 time German Bundesliga Champion Coach and possibly the best defensive coaching mind in Europe.

Assisted head coach Doug Spradley and the S. Oliver Baskets Wurzburg coaching staff during the 2014-15 season with player development.  Developed and executed group and one-on-one Big Man workouts for each player at the four and five positions over the course of the year.

During the off-season, I enjoy player development training.  I have worked with players of all skill levels and abilities as well as current and up and coming professionals.

During the summer of 2014 I received my Certified Personal Training License from the National Academy of Sports Medicine. I am interested in biomechanics and arthrokinematics and how the body reacts to certain stressors as they apply to basketball training.  Current basketball player development falls short without proper integration of many different fitness modalities, and since I was already in possession of a biology degree, further certification in strength and fitness seemed like a natural progression for my education in basketball and player development work.

I have worked multiple summer camps including the Nike Invitational.
